"Design Thinking"

The Harvard Business review has a fantastically meaty essay on "Design Thinking" by Tim Brown. (That's Tim Brown the CEO of IDEO, not Tim Brown the wide receiver and Heisman Trophy winner.) The essay's broken into four parts--"Getting beneath the surface," "How design thinking happens," "Taking a systems view" and "Getting back to the surface."
The sidebars focus on "A Design Thinker's Personality Profile," "Inspiration, Ideation, Implementation," and "How to make design thinking part of the innovation drill," among other topics. (And don't worry, you can click through the first window that pops up to access the article without a membership.)
The essay clocks in at 3,800 words; I guess you could say both Tim Browns like to "go long."
