Perhaps Ovation is responding to the concern that the word "designer" has become too generic, too all-meaning, too, well, popular. Reframing our profession tonight then, get your television fill of Yves Behar and Chris Lee on Ovation's "Designer People."

This may be helpful to the industry actually: "Who designs designer watches, or designer handbags, or designer sunglasses?" Well, designer people, of course.
