Smashing Author Contest: Results
Posted August 20th, 2008 by notesdesignOne month ago we announced the guest author contest, with the main prize being an Apple MacBook Air. We received 252 submissions. The choice was tough and time-consuming as we wanted to have a nice mix of various articles participating in the contest. In the end we have selected 15 articles and published them last week.

Books Giveaway: Comment and Win!

Unfortunately, it turned out that some books were unavailable, some were sold out and some are still waiting for the next edition. Consequently, we've decided to give away at least the books which are available now and keep the rest for future give-aways.
Smashing Textures Contest

Graphic designers use textures to transport some concrete aspects of real-life into the digital presentation. Textures are also used to create an atmosphere which fits to the main topic or idea of the site.
