Notable: Keen Shoes made a brilliant decision to create a competition to become one of 50 marketing interns by having students strut their stuff on campus. Over 800 "brand ambassadors" postered, blogged, and beer partied Keen's "Stand Out" campaign on college campuses on both sides of the nation in hopes of a summer job. Each college received $1000.

Noble: Then again, Keen stopped advertising for a year and took the $1,000,000 to help victims of the tsunami and they are bringing 20,000 pairs of shoes along with a group of their loyal consumers to Sichuan China to help out earthquake survivors.
